How does bakuchiol compare to retinol?
Bakuchiol is a plant-based alternative to retinol. Night pairs it with niacinamide, rosehip seed oil and ceramides to support renewal overnight, and it’s made without retinol, which can be drying.
Is it safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Yes. Night is made without retinoids, parabens, phthalates or preservatives, and every ingredient is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please check with your doctor before starting any new skincare.
Do I still need a separate moisturizer?
Night is a bakuchiol serum and moisturizer in one, so there’s nothing to layer. Massage 2 to 3 pumps over face and neck as your last evening step.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, Night is safe for sensitive skin. It’s made without preservatives, parabens, phthalates or synthetic fragrance, and each batch is made the week it ships. Everyone’s skin is different, so try a patch test first on the inside of your wrist before using it on your face.
Will rosehip oil clog my pores?
Rosehip seed oil is a light, non-comedogenic oil, so it won’t clog pores. Everyone’s skin responds differently, so if you’re breakout-prone, start with a patch test and add Night before anything else new.
Can I use it with my other products?
Yes. Night takes the place of your evening serum and moisturizer, so there’s less to layer. If you use a prescription skincare product, check with your doctor before adding anything new.
Why are there no preservatives?
Because each batch is made the week it ships. Most skincare is made to last years on a shelf, and that takes preservatives. They can also disrupt your skin’s natural balance. Ours is dated the day it’s made and meant to be used within 60 days, so it doesn’t need them.
How do I know my order is fresh?
Check the box and the bottle. The Made On date is printed on the box, and the Use By date is on the bottle. Each batch is made the week it ships, so the Made On date falls in the week your order shipped.
